@Fortunato & Alky

Thanks for the suggestions!

What I will be buying later today:

Viridiana (You guys convinced me! :) )
Eyes Without a Face
The Red Shoes
The Virgin Spring
The Last Emperor
Time Bandits

Those last two peaked the interest of my husband, so I gotta get those since he rarely lets me expand his cinematic horizons. :p

I also opted not to get DVDs for the ones I already have on VHS since they're still in excellent condition. I'd rather expand my collection then replace.

You're welcome! Can't wait to hear what you think of them- especially that first one. :)

Oh, dear. I'm going to end up spending all my money on this damn sale.

I just ordered online:

Carl Th. Dreyer boxset (another one I've been waiting forever to pick up)
Gate of Flesh
Made in U.S.A.
By Brakhage: An Anthology (replacement copy)
L'eclisse

I really want that Agnes Varda set, too.
This is bad.
And still two and a half more weeks to go.

I thought about picking that up the other day.
Tomorrow I plan on hitting a huge Barnes and Noble and picking up a few more.

Yeah, I've never seen it but I love the book.
And from what I hear, it's a wonderful adaptation.

Let us know what you pick up tomorrow.

-Simon of the Desert

(By the way, Fort, you should pick this up. Funny as hell, and only a mere $12!)

-The Phantom of Liberty

-That Obscure Object of Desire

-L'avventura

They didn't have Eyes Without a Face or Clean Shaven, both of which I was planning on picking up.

I'm sure I'll be back to post more soon!

Oh, yeah. I really need to grab that one. I've actually never seen it, but I think you've recommended it to me before. I'm sure it's great.
