Criterion Collection- Huge Sale!

Barnes and Noble is having a 50% off sale on Criterion Collection titles. If you're like me and can't often purchase DVDs for $35 a pop, you'll rejoyce when you see this. Most titles are running for $19.99, and there are a few gems (Bunuel's Simon of the Desert to mention one) that are going for around $13. If there was ever a time to purchase your favorite Criterion titles, this is it.

Enjoy!

Holy Crap! That's awesome! How long is the sale on for?

August 2nd, I believe. Also, if anyone does order, post what you do on here. I'm trying to figure out what'll be on my list.

I may have to pick up THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY

Wow - their Canadian shipping rates aren't even too bad. I'll be grabbing at least a couple, no questions asked.

Any ideas? If you were really cool you'd pick up a Bunuel and give him a shot.

:) ;)

Sounds like I plan to me...I was actually thinking about asking for suggestions. Which would be a good starting point for his work?

The only one I'll be picking up for sure is Eyes Without a Face, been dying to see that one for way too long. Otherwise...I'm open for suggestions. Probably end up getting 2-3.

I highly, highly, HIGHLY reccomend you pick up Viridiana. It's only $15, it's a great starting point for the director. It's creepy, funny, grotesque, absurd, surreal, blasphemous...your money would be well spent, and you'd be on your way to discovering the work of one of the cinema's all-time geniuses!

Sounds like a plan to me - adding it to the cart!

Good chance for you to check out Clean, Shaven too, man - if you've got room in the cart for another, I think you'd really dig it.
