Flowers in the Attic. It hearkens back to a time when teen oriented fiction was ookie and antisocial, instead of about vampires, Mormonism and abstinence. V.C Andrews is like the anti-Mayer and she deserves props for that. The film was kinda crappy, but at least it followed the sordid and warped plot of the book.
