I think hes asking which films that have come out in lets say the last 10 yrs do we think have the most respect.....
not necessarily in the past 10 years. I meant "older" as in the CLASSIC classics (the original NotLD, the Universal horror movies, the silent ones, stuff like that)

I'd say Night of the Living Dead if it's considered modern. It changed the genre and really seemed to have a significant subtest for the period.

i may be wrong but i think the thread is aimed at horror movies that have the respect of the GENERAL film going populace, not the respect of just people you'd find on a horror board.
