Smile IS lazor disc better

i'd definately have to say that was before my time friend, i'll just stick to DVD. actually i've been looking for the subspecies movies recently and it is only available on lasor and VHS damn i wish the fucking company didn't go bankbupt i wanna get it on DVD! (whins to herself)

Laser Disc was vastly inferior to DVD. At about 1/4 of the resolution, and only being able to hold 1.5 hours of video, with no extras, it was crap. In order to get a 2 hour movie onto the disc, you would have to split it in 2 and use 2 discs.

Also, Laser Discs are about the size of a vinyl record.

so i should probably just stick to searching for my film on VHS then, yes? all of that other stuff sounds like more trouble than it is worth. how you guys managed i will never know. thanx for the info man

You would have an even harder time getting a laserdisc PLAYER, let alone the discs themselves.

And it would probably be woefully expensive. Too much for what it is. Definately go with the VHS if it isnt on DVD.

Also, if you have a high speed connection to the internet, there is a lot tobe said for diet kazaa, you can find some interesting stuff on that. A freind of mine got I spit on your Grave. If you do go that rout, though, be careful. there is some AWFUL stuff out there.

great! thanx i will definately look in to that. so basically are those my only two options? i would really like to get a hold of this movie before it vanishes forever. once again thanx for the help and useful suggestions i will look into it.:D :) :D
