How many Star Trek fans we have?

Curious how many Star Trek fans we have on the board? How many of you have seen most all of the Original and the Next Generation TV episodes?

I was thinking of doing a fun tourney thread with it. V tried a non-horror film, and 80's film tourney thread, so horror isn't our only enjoyment around here.

I've seen every ep of the Original Series and Next Gen, myself.

Great idea for a tourney: battle of the Star Trek characters. Green alien lady wins.

Haven't seen all the TV shows, have probably seen all the movies. I like the idea for a tournament

I quite like Star Trek and have probably watched most/ all of the Original and Next Gen, but I thought DS9 was by far the best Star Trek TV show. After the first couple of seasons are out the way it really develops the characters and stories well. Tons of cool story arcs, decent action scenes for the time slot, and by far the darkest of all the shows. I know most hardcore fans didn't care too much for it, but I still think its the best thing the Star Trek franchise has ever produced.

I'm not sure we have enough regular posters to keep a Star Trek specific tournament running, but nothing stopping you giving it a whirl.

Not really a huge fan of "Star Trek" but if you have a tourney, I will do my best to be a nuisance and make all kinds of absurd answers and constantly mix it up with "Star Wars" (which I also know nothing about). Love, Bloofer.

That is exactly what I want from you! Plus, if you give me a picture of you, I'll photoshop it so you're kissing the horribly annoying Neelix character from Star Trek Voyager.

Anybody else? I think we just need about 5 folks to have some fun.

Well, I grew up watching the Star Trek tv shows and I was a huge fan at the time. I never got into the Next Generation. I've seen all the movies and my favorites are the newest ones. I can give it a shot at least so I say go for it!!!!!!

I also grew up with Captain Kirk. We had a color TV, which was unusual at the time, so my friends and I would do weekly Trek nights at my pad. Probably saw all but a few of the Picards.

When I'm teaching, I often talk about Star Trek stuff like the Prime Directive, replicators, holodecks, Borgs, etc. About half of my 18-20 year old students know of what I speak, half are clueless.
