Digitally Filmed Movies

I really like the super quality of movies filmed totally digitally, ie. 28 days later...

Ok not whether or not you like 28 days later:rolleyes: we've done that thread to death, but how do you like the LOOK of films done digitally?

I think it looks pretty good quality wise, and gives a different feal to the film, any takers?

Also anyone else know of any other films done entirely digitally? i think 28days later is the only one if seen....

28 Days Later blew.

Biggeset waste of $20.

Digital movies blow aswell. Why fake slice someone's head off, when you can actually do it? Nothing like the real thing.

Unfortunately, no director has had big enough balls to actually kill someone.

So I guess all horror movies blow in some way or another.

Well, my friend, I'm not into filming techniques, but I must agree 28 Days Later is visually awesome... Anyway, it is the only one that I (now) KNOW to have been filmed this way, so I don't have a great basis for comparisons... Especially because of that, I'll also be glad if someone tells of more movies digitally made...

Agreed. I'd like to see more digital movies, they just have a super clean yet grainy look to them, i'd REALLY like to see one on a HDTV, but alas, the funding aludes me....

You're missing the point. We're not talking special effects, we're talking about films that are recorded use digital video cameras, so they never get the quality reduction that comes with recording onto standard film. It makes a big difference.

Yeah the filming quality was fucking excellent.

Don't know of any other digitally filmed movies though.

The quality of digital is great. But it doesnt make the movie good. 28 Days Later sucked.
