yeah, I really don't see where else they could go with the Flatliners idea? I really don't hold out very high hopes for this project.

Looks like I'm gonna have to get out my flamethrower again. Whoever is responsible for this deserves to be incinerated.

This is exactly what I have been saying since I came here-remakes are destroying original horror movies by preventing them getting off the ground. If people keep BUYING remakes on dvd then eventually all there will be is remakes being released.

Definitely one of the reasons original movies dont get anywhere. All anyone cares about is making money but a lot of these remakes dont even make that much money so i dont get it. Fright Night certainly hasnt been making a lot of money.

I'm glad Fright Night remake isn't making money-hopefully filmmakers will get the message soon.

We can only hope. Funny thing is later i'm going to go see Don't Be Afraid of The Dark...another remake. I trash remakes all the time but there are some that interest me and this one seems to have done something different. Maybe Flatliners will too, who knows? I just wish there was more of a balance between original movies and remakes coming out. Although i guess that's a little hypocritical of me. I could always see Shark Night or Apollo 18 instead today.....
