Killing Floor

Anyone try this yet? Its getting plenty of good reps.

Killing Floor is a Co-op Survival Horror FPS taking place in the devastated cities and countryside of England, after a series of cloning experiments for the military goes horribly wrong. You and your friends are members of the military and police, dropped into these locations with a simple mission: survive long enough to cleanse the area of the failed experiments. The only problem is, these “experiments” aren’t waiting to be taken out – they’re coming for YOU!

Killing Floor is out now. Think of it sort of like Left 4 Dead meets Gears Of War 2's horde mode. You fight waves of relentless horrifying zombie creatures, in some creepy messed up levels.

Tripwire Interactive will also be running a promotion from October 22nd - Oct. 25th. You will be able to download and try the game free on Steam for that time period. You can play the game for free now on Steam through the 25th. You can buy it normally for $19.99, but this weekend only you can get it for 25% off at the price of $14.99.

Did anyone dl it and try it out?

Yeah, Killing Floor looks f*cking nails!!! I'm pretty sure my video-card would catch fire if I tried to rock it though....

Screenies:

I guess they just dropped a content pack as well with new maps and weapons.

So I picked this up yesterday and played a few levels.

Its pretty good and solid, with plenty of weapon upgrades once you fight off waves of zombies headed in your direction in various levels/floors. Some super/bigger/heavier zombies are interspersed with the normal zombies and they all make a beeline for you.

Its fun for co-op gameplay with a friend. I guess it will become repetitive as the game advances (boss levels notwithstanding), but still I m looking forward to playing this after I finish Timeshift.
