voodoo flicks
Hola all. How about some recs for movies about or that involve Vodou, Santeria, Macumba, or other New Orleans/Afro-Caribbean/S. American spiritual themes. i enjoyed the first half of Dance with the Devil (started skipping too much to finish, waiting for Netflix to send another-argh!). What i am NOT looking for are unintelligent, exploitive voodoo zombie flix. The Skeleton Key was decent enough (c+) i guess. i am hesitant to see The Serpent and the Rainbow only because i loved the book. Thanks. Ashe.
