Cool What are your htoughts on Lucio Fulci's House by the Cemetary?

I watched it last night and was wondering what the deal was with the little girl? and why they suggest in the movie twice that the father had been to the house before? am i missing something?
i'm watching it again now to see if maybe i'm missing something.

Thats just the way he tells the story...leaves you with lots of unanswered questions. One of the main reasons that I love it so much, it leaves so many elements up to interpretation.

i liked it, but it wasnt one of my favorite Fulci films. the effects of the bat almost ruined it for me.

Yeah, the bat is rough...but the slimy guy at the end more than makes up for it in my opinion. But I agree, it's not my favorite from him. I've actually only seen it a couple times as opposed to the countless times I have see some of his others.

For me the overall movie experience was ruined by the voice over actor for the kid. I never get bothered by dubbing but my god it was easily the most annoying voice ive ever heard. FX are great.
