i cant say that i'm terribly excited about this one.

i enjoyed it at the show, i'll be buying it - but i'm not that pumped for it.

one of the ways i know if a movie had an impact on me is how much i think about it after seeing it ...
I forgot everything about iron man other than remembering that Downy was a good tony stark.

same with the hulk.

batman resonated with me long after the wiewing.

but then again - i was never a huge fan of the iron man comic either ...

I've always been a scuker for Iron man, plus I read a book about a montha ago that was a chain of iron man comics, and it was very very good, so i have been excited about it. I really liked the movie, and I'm placating myself for now since I have to wait for the Dark Knight.

One way or another, its another movie that i will watch way too mcuh of. :)

I'll be buying it for sure, but I'm more excited for Incredible Hulk to come out. Loved them both, but I think Hulk will prove the more re-watchable of the two.

my kid will want to see it again .. and i'll enjoy it for downey ... but in all honesty - i preferred him in Tropic Thunder now that i've seen it ..

there was a while many years ago wher ei was liking ironman because of the exeptional artwork .. there was an artis doing the books them that had a knack for making things look real, gleaming armour, high detail..

it really suited the style of the book...
but this was before they played really heavily on the alcoholic playboy persona .. i touched on it - but i think that became more of a central theme after i gave up comics

I still haven't seen Iron Man, much to my dismay, because our theater here sucks.....:( But I can't wait for the DVD release, I love Robert Downey Jr. and was thrilled when I heard he was going to be in it. I wanted to see it in theater as much as I was wanted to see The Dark Knight. I will say though, Robert Downey Jr. aside, I don't see Iron Man impressing me nearly as much,

I'm gonna skip it and wait for it to come on TV or hit the dollar bin. It'll probably get enough reruns to not worry about the dollar bin. I'd rather see a decent release of Less Than Zero than Robert Downey Jr follow the path of Johnny Depp into bland cookie cutter roles.

It wasnt quite up to The Dark Knight, but really, there are great movies, and there are materpieces. Iron man is a great movie, TDK is a masterpiece.

Dont set your standards too high :)
