Best cartoon character

I know there have been a few cartoon character related threads in the past few weeks, but i dont think this one has been done yet. what are your favorite characters and why?

here are mine, in no particular order:

Homer Simpson: The simpsons
c'mon, its homer.

Butters: South Park
i think he is the only non-malicious character in all of south park. hes a nice, cute, sweet natured kid, and the only innocent in the series; which of course makes everythign around him that much more awful.

Cartman: South Park
Evil fat little prick, possibly the most demented child ever concieved.


Mr Burns: The Simpsons
Unapologeticly selfish. gordon gecko would be jealous.

i get a kick out of inept blowhards that talk the '50's lingo.

Foghorn leghorn was always a favorite of mine too. I used to love it when that little chicken hawk would kick the crap out of him.
