I watch that movie today it's not bad one, the idea is for a incest of a Texas family and the freaks they become, there is a little erotic and many killings in a Texas style

I thought that the movie was pretty terrible; derivative, bad writing, terrible acting, and felt more like a USA movie than anything else.
I was embarrassed that it premiered in last year's After Dark festival. There has to be a score of other new filmmakers that can produce something better than this crap.

I keep picking this one up and putting it back on the shelf. Might pick it up when its cheaper... I've just been burnt to many times by indie stuff recently.

Keep it on the shelf. Maybe take a look if you can watch it for free. It's terrible and not worth the money that they're asking for it. It honestly should not have seen the light of the silver screen. If you want to walk out with an After Dark film of 2007, my suggestions are:
Mulberry Street - Good infectious monster movie. Crazy Eights - Fantastic ghost movie. My favorite of the festival. Borderland - Creepy and intense kidnapping and ritualistic cult film.

Actually, if you really look around, you can find good movies.
Recent indie horror gems that I've found, watched, and enjoyed:
Decent horror flicks to come out of last year's After Dark Fest: All of these films came out in the last few years and all of them are a hand and fist above Lake Dead. Good indie horror movies are out there; you just have to look around. Why settle?
