Writer/director Frazer Lee has been shortlisted for the MySpace.com Movie MashUp prize. He made it into the Top 12 directors out of around 1,000 entries.
The winner gets £1million ($2million USD) with which to direct their first feature. Frazer's feature project is the horror movie URBANE, to star Doug Bradley.
An industry panel including Sienna Miller and Andrew (28 Weeks Later) MacDonald will narrow the list down to 3 finalists on June 25, and MySpace users can vote for the winner from June 26. The winner will be announced July 12. MySpace users can then audition for acting roles/employment in the movie, and vote for music artists and an editor for the trailer. The finished movie will premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in May 2008.
