The Terror
I saw this when I first started getting into the classics. It is a great little story starring Jack Nicholson and Boris Karloff. If you haven't seen it you should check it out. If you have seen it, let me know what you thought about it.

Even though Im a huge fan of everyone involved (Corman, Nicholson, Karloff, ect.), I didnt really care for this. It wasnt awful, but it could have been alot better.
Good story but really bad pacing...seems to drag on forever.

I do agree with you. But, considering it was made on a whim (shot during extra time they had the castle after shooting The Raven), it was pretty good.

Not my favorite Karloff film, but it's worth a viewing

One thing I remember is when Karloff pulls on the chain to lift the gate it isn't synced together and it makes me laugh

Horray tecno-color! It was like the movie took place on disco island! I loved it!

The direction was good, but the script lacked pace. It could have been much better, but needed a bit more juice.
Like they say, the final cocktail lacked the punch.
