Reporter in san diego gets his ASS beaten

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Thn2BGOj3...elated&search=

the guy who beat him was a douchebag who deserved to get arrested, but maybe "investigative reporters" will show a little more caution now...

pretty funny though. not every day you see a guy in a suit get smacked around.

The report was all about how violent these people were - and the reporter kept on baiting them. Talk about getting what you asked for.

I'd like to see this happen on a regular basis. 90% of what's called "news" is simply gossip or sensationalized smears contrived in order to feed the beast of the 24 hour news agencies. Screw 'em:D

And yeah, it's pretty funny too;)

that's why i hunted this down this morning. they were talking about how smug the reporter was, and how stupid it was for him to bait someone he was just doing a piece about being violent...

kinda like prodding a rabid pitbull with a stick. Dont cry when it disfigures you for life.

Agreed 100%.

A family from my area is preparing to bury their 21 year old son who was just killed in Iraq. That doesn't make national news but Paris fucking Hilton does for driving drunk.....makes me fucking sick.

They had a guy call in this morning (To Opie and Anthony) about this. he was from florida, and someone in his family recently died of cancer (i think). the family was doing an interview, and decided at one point they had had enough and asked the reporter to leave. he said that the reporter kept sticking the mic in the door as they closed it to ask more questions, even though by that point they were shouting at them to leave.

So, one of them repeatedly slammed the door on his wrist until he pulled it back and the locked the door.

The reporter took them to court, and the judge threw the case out and told the reporter he had overstepped his bounds and they were justified in protecting themselves :D

actual justice? amazing.

Kind of wish we still lived in a world where a man could settle things (from time to time) with his fists. Like the reporter at the funeral - beat his ass.

But in our litigeous society, you can't raise a finger to someone without getting sued.
We're getting softer and less concerned with the immediate consequences for our actions.

it used to be "first we kill all the lawyers"

now it seems we should first kill all the cable news reporters - they do nothing but feed our insecurities and pray on decency while creating a nation of voyeurs

Althoug i dont really trust Michael Moore's data (he is waaaay to ready to use any tactic to push his beliefs), he raises some interesting points in Bowling for Columbine. Everyone in this country is afraid of everyone else, we all hate each other, and we cant wait to make a quick buck off of someone else's fuckup, real or not.

in most cases i'd agree 100% - i dont have a lot of respect for the press...

but ... the guy who did this is a piece of shit criminal involved in real estate scams ... one of the new up and coming crimes that prey on the innocent.

they can badger this asshole to death if they like for all i care .. and blondie should have rammed that water bottle down that piece of dumb shit wife of the guys as well.

i wish the cops would have shot them both.
criminals who act like animals .. arent civilized enough to walk the fuck away ...

If only I didn't have the sneaking suspicion that the reporter purposely didn't defend himself for better footage.
