wolf creek was the most terrible boring movie i have seen in years, thank god i didn't go to the movie theaters for that one, i'd never be able to forgive myself for paying to see that.

on another note best horror movie i have seen since 90 is luther the geek....j/k. my list would be (not in any specific order)

In the Mouth of Madness
The Relic
House of 1000 Corpses
Misery
Night Flier
From Dusk till Dawn
Hills have Eyes

i wasnt too big of a fan of se7en. they could have shown the fucked up scenes, but it was just the aftermath. i dont consider it a horror movie either.

Well, since no-ones stopping at just one, and I don't like to ever say "favourite" in terms of films, here's a few from me.

28 days later was BRILLIANT
Uzumaki
Phantoms (yeah yeah, the book was better blahblahblah)
Event Horizon
Versus
Jeepers Creepers - the first one...second was shithouse IMO.
Saw, and to a lesser extent, Saw 2.
In the mouth of Madness
Silence of the Lambs
Cube (the first and by god ONLY the first)
Slither was an excellent return to the oldskool, and a lot of fun, too bad it ended so damn quickly.

...For tv series, American Gothic, Kindred: The embraced, and the hunger, and er...whatever that alien invasion type show that started on the ship was...threshold? those were all pretty good.

...Comedy/horror? Scream 1 and Scary Movie 1 are both decent parodies, I guess Freddys Dead would come under here since Krueger became a comedy act by then, I still quite enjoyed this one...WAY better than the few prior to it.
Shaun of the Dead is probably the best homage/parody I've ever seen, all the while one of the most enjoyable zombie flicks.
