Can't figure out what movies!
First time poster here, but I have something that's driving me crazy. If I missed something obvious on the site that would point me right towards it, I apologize.
I was watching a clip of a horror movie yesterday, and spent a long while today trying to find it. Problem is, I don't have much to go on, and all my googling and forum searching has turned up nada. The clip is on YouTube, but has no sound. Here's the clip, can anyone please tell me what movie it's from? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsdOasnQhUs As if that weren't enough, I've been trying to find out the title of a couple horror movies I saw as a kid. One of them was about some teenagers (early teens iirc) who find a rock, smash it open, and monsters start appearing. One of them grows an eye in his hand, and eventually stabs at it with broken glass. At one point his parents show up, he runs out of the house to greet them, and their faces start melting. The other I barely remember except it had a kid and his father (grandfather?) getting attacked by winged creatures, maybe gargoyles, that tore off the roof of the house they were in. Again, iirc correctly, this was set in a somewhat modern city. Some help, please?
