No way. Rent it if you really want to see it, but I wouldn't recommend buying it for more than $10, and that's ony if you really liked it. Check Ebay, you can probably find a good deal.

Dude, I hardly ever buy movies new anymore. If you wait a little longer, a Blockbuster/Movie Gallery/whatever near you will have it on Buy 2, Get 2 free or something similar. The only way I buy new movies anymore is if I absolutely CANNOT wait 4 weeks to own it (I honestly can't remember the last time this happened) or I want the SE, which the rental houses usually don't carry.

Another great thing about this, when concerning remakes, is they usually put copies of the original out at the same time as the remake. Then you can get both, and pick out two free movies to go with them!

no way. It aint worth $1. The movie sucked. The original was much better than the 2006 version. If you want a review of it, you can read mine here

Spend your money on the original. It has an amazing creepy opening and finale. Pretty decent thriller. I'm pretty dubious about seeing the remake but will give it a rent at some stage so I'll have something else to complain about :)

So yeh..... spend your $$$ on the original.
