Liked the part based on fact, but the ending was a bit crap

It's hard to believe so many people could be 'Controled' by one person

If it's the version that was recently shown on TV, I thought it was pretty good. But the must-see version is the one with Steve Railsback, Helter Skelter. That was excellent. Steve Railsback WAS Manson. A great performance! So are there interviews with any of the actual people involved? Why the 2-Discs?

No, that one's Helter Skelter. The Manson Family is the Jim VanBebber film (originally titled Charlie's Family). Totally different.
I thought MF rocked. Gore and nekkied chicks a plenty all wrapped in a nightmareish bit of insanity.

Ah ha! Hadn't heard of that one. Thanks for the information. Saw a home video type movie of the manson family titled, simply enough, Manson. Lots of jerky camera angles, interviews with the bunch holding vigil outside the courthouse, Squeaky Fromme in daisy-dukes holding a snake she referred to as "Snakey". Odd, interesting and corny. It wasn't listed on the IMDB when I checked out the VanBebber film, but, a curiosity if you are interested in a behind the scenes poser-type view of the "family".
