with the recent trend (Grudge and Ring 2) of remakes of JapHorror movies sucking, I wouldn't normally have much faith in this one. BUT, this one has legit starpower, not just people who're popular at the moment. I have faith that even if the script is week, Connely will make it at least decent.

I love them I actually met the co producer of the grudge, currently they are working on Grudge 2. I will get nmore info on it when I talk to him. I pass out to the grudge everynight.

I, myself, did enjoy Ju-On very much, but I thought the American version was scarier in many ways. The shower scene and the video scene in The Grudge was much more effective than its Japanese counterpart. However, I did enjoy the structure of Ju-On more. Let's face it. The Ring and The Grudge are good horror films, and should not be dismissed just based on the fact that they are "remakes". I am going to give Dark Water a chance. From the looks of it, urgeok will, too. The rest of you can watch Jason pick his nose. :p
