I am so fucking excited, i feel like i am walking on air...

Ever since i saw prom night 3 when i was 6 +/- i have been obsessed with horror movies, well the other day during a "Prepare for your future" assembly thing at school, everybody knew what they wanted to be. Well there is only one thing on my mind most of the time, horror movies, but since nobody where i live cares about that I did some research. first i was thinking, what is my fav thing about horror movies. I knew it was the gore and special effects... So i thought, i am a decent artist, hell i am taking 4 art classes (out of 6 hours) at school. I have always loved the tricks used by tom savini and peter jackson, so i though: I want to do this. Well that day was the day b4 my birthday and I was getting my early birthday present from my parents, it was the f13 boxset, and on the bonus features the was a thing about Tom Savini's school for special FX. I thought to myself, this is perfect for me. The next day I scheduled a guidance appoitment, told my counsler about what it was and how i would love to do this, and I was surprised to see his enthusiasim, he told me it would be perfect for me. Made a phone call, left a messege, and is getting tuition info, applications, and everything. I'm not to sure if this is all going to work out or not, but if it does and i am accepted, then i will be moving to Pennsylvania fopr 16 months and taking some classes with the master. Tom Savini, as i understand he teaches a few.

If i am not accepted i will still find a way to get into the special effects biz, one way or another.

Exactly what I felt when I got accepted here. I go to douglas now. Tom doesn't exactly teach here but he's always around checking it out and your work. I don't know how much you have read into the school but now they have a association with Dick Smith and he goes over your portfolio during your last semister of school. Upon graduation you can apply for a certificate from Dick Smith. If you know this buisness you know who Dick Smith is. Keep in touch with me if you do come out here. I'll show you all of what there isn't to see around here. AOL-Clockworth if you feel like it. Tell you anything i can about the school.
