You can destroy my specimens but what about the millions that wait to greet you outside?
Do you really think you can blow the piss out of them?

The Exorcist really grabbed me the first time I saw it. After I saw it I was in the kitchen fixing food and my husband was in the living room watching TV and the commercial came on where the dog passes out over a man's smelly feet and my husband did a low laugh at the commercial and I went into a shrieking spasm in the kitchen. I was that keyed up.

But when they came out with the Director's cut, I really didn't expect to be scared. I'd seen it a million times but out of nowhere comes this scene where she's crawling down the stairs, and I lost it. Quite fun! Only movie that's ever spooked me twice.

Blair Witch Project!

Most of it was pretty boring, but the last 15 or so minutes is totally worth it. Ive seen it quite a few times, the end always creeps me out. Hell the first time I saw it, I refused to watch the ending I was so terrified. A little after they got to the house, I up and left. Wasnt in theatres or anything, but I had to leave my house, I couldnt take it. Completly terrified me and Im not afraid to admit it.

****

First time I saw it, Signs scared the crap out of me too, cause I wasnt expecting much of anything. When the alien walked out from the bush though...holy crap. Turned it off, went to bed, hardly slept a wink. Next day I watched it again and I laughed at myself for being so terrified of it. Srtill a pretty cool flick though, IMO.

****

Didnt scare me while I was actually watching it, but the night after I saw Jeepers Creepers for the first time, I had a crazy nightmare about the Creeper.

****

None of the ones on the list scared me though. Some damn good movies there, but none that scared me.

Maybe I'm weird, but I thought Blair Witch Project was the most boring horror flick I've seen in a while.

I agree that the majority was really boring, but the tension they build in the last 10-15 min or so was terrifying, IMO.

Another one that scared me in a different kind of way was American Pyscho. The majority of the movie, while being incredbly acted and great overall, didnt scare me in the slightest. The ending however, or at least the way that I interpreted it, was absolutly chilling.
