[QUOTE=ChronoGrl;838266]Oh, absolutely. I'm actually a wannabe-gamer. Always WANTED to play D&D, but didn't know anyone else who did and wasn't sure how to get started... Want to play WOW, but can't afford the price of the software and monthly fee right now (plus I don't have a good enough computer to run it on). Looking into some LARPing around the area, though (NERO is one I'm looking at especially, after watching Monster Camp).

I think you'd have a more fun experience table top gaming than MMORPG, just because there's more characterization and less casual clicking on things until they blow up. I think you'd enjoy White Wolf's World of Darkness games, because there's nearly limitless things you can do with character building and we're not just talking numbers and power sets. All you need to do is go to your local game store and see if they have a board up. If they have said cork board, put up a note that says "buxom hottie seeks gaming group." I'm certain you will find plenty of games.

But...BUT...MMORPGs are fun, too :(

Honestly...If it weren't for the baby...We would be playing the real RPGs, too...Dustin doesn't really care for card, dice, or text-based RPGs, though (maybe this game that V has created might help to change his mind a little about text-based RPGs)...Seri plays text-based RPGs...BTW, Did you know that there's a Dungeons and Dragons MMORPG now?

If it were free and I didn't have all these books to write and such, I'd be kind of tempted. I like 4th edtion more than I like 3rd edition, even though it's kind of big and videogamish. I have a character 4th edition will finally allow me to play thanks to the Warlord class' inspire and tactics abilities. He's kind of a thuggish halfling Michael Caine who looks like he's never doing anything but actually changes the outcome of things all the time.

Oh, but it IS free ;)...Dustin said the controls are pretty crappy though...I didn't even try it, because if the controls are bad for HIM (he can WASD), they're probably impossible for me.

Also...White Wolf's World Of Darkness is being developed right now...as an MMORPG...They've been working on it for quite some time...It was supposed to come out this year, but now some say 2010 or 2011...I don't know yet if that one will be f2p, or when it will be ready...They seem to be having quite a few problems with it for some reason...At any rate, it might be worth checking out when (if) they finally get it finished.

Rearrange the boxes and climb towards the shaft?
Or head down the steps?

I would climb towards the shaft.

When things become totally dark around him, he lights a match in the process of taking the next step. As if in response, a low growl greets him from near, somewhere just below him. He stops and looks down.

Demon Seed tries to take a step back, but doesnt find the last one and stumbles. Somehow regaining his balance, Demon Seed gulps.

Take on the creature with your mace, or turn around and try your best to get out of the well? You do have a Special Ability - Brawl - which might cause plenty of damage to the creature, but you will lose 2 Strength points everytime you use it. Choose.
I would like to take it on with my mace. :3

Friday13thFan - Checkpoint #6. A fairly large tree with a very thick center. You can make out the outline of a door.
A hole on the ground towards the right reveals to have steps leading down below into the darkness.
The door, or the steps?
Hmmm. ill take the risk of going down the steps.

Proceed and open another box? Or leave the other two boxes and head towards the door? Choose.

I'll open Box #2 next.

I'm not leaving this room without searching all the boxes. I want to raise my fairy army asap!

The room is in complete darkness. Fortunato strikes a match.

A pair of shining silver eyes stare back at him from the right corner of the room!

Move forward to check what they are, or close this door and back out? Choose.

WL walks forward and rearranges the boxes slowly, then climbs over them and grabs the vent shaft. She wriggles into it slowly, and finds that its much smaller than she had expected. She moves forward at a snail's pace, and the shaft starts creaking. She feels it giving way under her, and she comes crashing down with a loud crash right in the middle of a dimly lit room.

Zombies all around! And they are staring directly at the new entrant of the room!

Take them on? Look for a possible exit? Choose.

F13F looks at the steps, then strikes a match and walks towards it. The steps resonate with the sounds of him walking down it, and something stirs deep below in the darkness. It utters a faint moan and starts to amble slowly towards where F13F is coming down. His match goes out right at that instant.

Light another match and proceed forward? Or the foreboding of danger makes you jump back out and break the door? Choose.

Some rustling feet slowly amble towards the door, and the lights of the gate reveal the thing standing in the doorway in front of him.

Its a zombie girl! And it looks very hungry!

Shoot it? Find a means of escape? Choose.

Still waiting on Scouse Mac, The Return and ManchestrMorgue for the Chainsaws. And Angra, Massacre Man, Hammerfan, Murderdoll, Caenxavier and Flayed One for the Machetes.

Step 2 of the rest of the choices tomorrow.
