The Haunting (1963)

Spider Baby (1968)

Two creepy 60s classics with the right atmosphere for the season.

Wouldn't be Halloween for me without at least one viewing of:

Also, a healthy helping of Vincent Price is a wonderful way to spend the season.

At Halloween I love to diversify, but nothing makes me feel as halloween-y as really gothic, really classic-feeling, autumnal fare like

Sleepy Hollow
Frankenstien
Nosferatu
The Wolf Man
La Maschara del Demonio
The Phantom of the Opera

and animated fare like
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

and the stop-motion Annabel Lee
