The Hollywood Strangler Meets the Skid Row Slasher

I was looking for a fun trashy flick and this didn't really fit the bill.

For me, there isn't a plot, with the exception of Casablanca's, that I'd rather be intricately drawn into. I enjoy the length on Vertigo.
Just throwing another opinion out there for him:)

The Last King of Scotland

Very good movie, made even better by a spectacular performance by Forest Whitaker. I really liked how they handled the subject matter, how they sort of kept the audience in the dark about the horrors of his regime for most of the movie.

It was quite good, wasn't it? I thought Forest did an incredible job, and the rest of the cast was fiery as well.

Agreed, the whole cast was pretty impessive.

The only weak link that I noticed was Amin's security advisor (his name escapes me). Not that he was bad, but his whole performance was just just walking cliché.

Yeah, definately. Next to the rest of the cast he was dull.

Tom Brown's School Days (1940). Just watched this, hadn't seen it in 20 years or so! Still a great movie.
