never could get into "The Birds" just can't be afraid of a bird - too silly.

Just going to say that. I didn't enjoy the movie at all. It was just... stupid.

Psycho
Even with all the hype and praise surrounding it, which I've been exposed to for years, I still wasn't dissapointed. Simply amazing. The twist was predictable, but the explanation of his exact illness was excellent and very creative. Loved it, and will definitely be looking forward to more Hitchcock.

Evil Dead 2 & 3 tonight, Vertigo tomorrow.

Vertigo's my favorite Hitchcock flick, and my fourth favorite movie of all time. Atmospheric and mysterious. Suspenseful and unpredictable.

Bon appetite!

Evil Dead II
Along with the original, this has to be one of my favourite horror movies (or movies in general) of all-time. It's dark, atmospheric, has generally creepy moments - while all the time being utterly hillarious, quotable, disgusting, fun, repulsive, gory, and a host of other descriptive words. I never get tired of watching it. In fact, right now... I want to watch it again. But I'll opt out in exchange for Army of Darkness (which I haven't seen in it's entirety before).

A wonderfully charming film that you can't help but enjoy watching through every minute of it. Loved it.

You forgot overlong and drawn out ;)

Josh, dont get your hopes up too high for Vertigo....it wasnt impressed. The ending is fantastic and Stewart is good as always, but otherwise it doesnt have a whole lot going for it. An hour of plot strung out over two...decent movie, but nothing special IMHO.

That said, about 95% of people disagree with me on this point, so who knows.

Well, we'll let the man make his own decision.

For me, there isn't a plot, with the exception of Casablanca's, that I'd rather be intricately drawn into. I enjoy the length on Vertigo.
