SPOILERS
I like where they're taking this season. Kinda seems like a mix of the farm and the prison storylines. I know that doesn't really sound all that good but it's different then the way those storys played out. At the very least i'm interested to see how it plays out. Rick looks so weird without the beard. I love that Daryl is the one whose still skeptical about the town to the point of not even showering. Loved that Glenn knocked that fucker out.

Episode 13 "Forget"
SPOILERS Sasha in sniper mode was bad ass but her detachment is kind of freaky. Interesting watching her try to deal with PTSD though. Wonder who carved a 'W' into that walkers forehead. Weird seeing Michonne in a uniform. Love Carol pretending to be all suburban house wife. Buttons! Abe is a philosophical drunk. Carol was creepy as hell when that kid caught her.

Episode 14 "Spend"
SPOILERS Excellent Seth Gilliam scene to open the episode and easily his best so far. I liked seeing Noah want to learn how to build stuff. Great seeing Glenn lead a supply run with the new group. Eugene finally being useful. Of course Aiden is the one who blows up a grenade and gets himself killed. Carol is crazy mean to little Sam. Abraham is a beast but he has the worst catchphrase. Kind of awesome seeing Eugene step up to protect Tara and try to rescue the rest of the group. Loved seeing Francine punch that guy in the face. Nicholas is a piece of shit and it was really satisfying seeing Glenn knock him out. Wow wasn't expecting Noah to get eaten but the gore was spectacular. Gabriel is crazy and a snitch, what a bad time for Glenn to pull up. Looking forward to how Rick and Carol deal with the Pete situation.

I knew Noah was a goner...right from the get go...
When they focused on him wanting to be an architect...especially when Tara jumped on his back a little and hugged him... Bad omens. Just blend in...don't get too noticed...remain vigilant, remain aware... But have no focus on you! They focus on Beth, she's dead. They focus on Bob, he's dead. They focus on Tyrese, he's dead. They focus on Noah, he's dead. Shit's gonna hit the fan soon...Rick's gonna kill their only doctor cuz he's beating his wife and kid. AND THE WOLVES ARE NEAR!!!

Episode 15 "Try"
SPOILERS Nice montage to a Nine Inch Nails song to open the episode. Nicholas is scum and I liked seeing Glenn confront him especially after he fed those lies to Deanna. Sasha, Michonne and Rosita were all pretty bad ass. The gore on the woman tied to the tree looked phenomenal. Pete is creepy as hell and the scene where he fights Rick was great. Rick losing it again and Michonne knocking him out made me laugh.

So I initially stopped watching after the snoozefest that was season 1, because I loathed the cast and hoped 90 per cent of them WOULD get eaten by zombies.
And those were supposed to be the GOOD guys. I missed the atmosphere and creep-factor that kept me turning the pages of amazing comics and playing Telltales video games. Buuuut there always comes a time when you've run out of the good shows and turn back to the bad, so I skipped some episodes and BAM - now we're talking. Finally they're implementing the most disgusting and savage human behavior that WOULD be a fact should a zombie apocalypse hit us. Excuse me, of course I mean WHEN the zombie apocalypse hits us ![]() |
