What book u reading at the moment?

Anne Rice, The Wolf Gift

THE BEAUTIFUL MYSTERY by Louise Penny. Only about 50 pages into it but my immediate reaction is good story by a good writer. High hopes for this one.

Just finished Dan Simmons's The Terror. A huge, huge book, and it is true in some parts Simmons seems like he's trying to move his story forward by sheer willpower. But I think the Cthulhu-style ice beast repays the reader's patience.

I read Summer of Night and wasn't too impressed. Have you read that? I'm wondering how it compares.

I haven't. Probably won't return to Simmons for awhile, having slogged through 700+ pages in the Terror!

My brother said it was a good read but had a bad ending. I love Laymon though and its short so I'm giving it a try

Ive got a child Gages age so it works better even now than when i was younger, love the film too!

Read Carrion Comfort, its the best book of his ive read & probably one of the best books ive ever read
