Question about The Collection
Last night I watched The Collection and I noticed something that I don't believe is a coincidence: The name of the hotel that the Collector has turned into his evil lair is "Dargento Hotel". Woefully, I am not up to scratch on my Argento films, but it left me wondering if there was something that I missed from this film not having seen anything from Argento.
What should I watch by Argento? Did 'The Collection' borrow something stylistically from or refer to any of his works in particular? |

I haven't seen The Collection, but I can definitely recommend some Argento films to watch:
Suspiria Tenebre Opera Deep Red The Bird with the Crystal Plumage

I think it was a nod to Argento, with the screenwriters being horror fans themselves.
I recommend Suspiria, Phenomena, Trauma and even Sleepless. Just from the top of my head. |
