TBH until now had paid no attention to this film, it seemed almost sacrilegious! Knowing now that Raimi and Campbell are overseeing the whole venture changes everything for me...

I am, for the first time in years, excited about what the next few months have to offer; just please don't let me down. PLEASE!!!

I'm glad they took out the Ash character, no one could do a better performance than Bruce did. I like that they are taking the humor out of it, it has the potential to be really frightening. I am tired of all of the remakes but this is one I will check out.

Yeah...it may be a complete spook-fest but the trailer did one good thing to me...brought me back to Raimi's original cabin for some moments where I had one of the creepiest encounters & plenty of greatest chills of horror cinema for the very first time in my life back in those beautiful childhood days.

THE EVIL DEAD...The first horror film (& very...very favorite) of my life.
