Tonight (After a bit of my Angel rewatch) I'm putting on Valentine. I haven't seen it for years and it's a good movie :)

You're welcome, buddy:D I guess I wasn't ready for its all over the place kind of take as I expected a simple fun slasher. But I agree, it's still a fun watch indeed for what it delivered or intended to be as a whole film.

First time viewing in a row! Downloaded all the films as a pack of 4.18 GB few months back. The pack also include some fun short videos & songs. Hilarious stuff. Liked the first 2 films mostly.

yeah i used to love watching troma movies pissed.and now that i dont drink i find it hard to watch them coz they make me want to drink

V/H/S (2012)



The first anthology film to the sub-genre of Found footage horror & it consists 5 stories...Amateur Night, Second Honeymoon, Tuesday the 17th, The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger & 10/31/98.

Not great but as a first time initiative, it was a decent effort overall. The frame story (Tape 56) needed to be a better one. Expected a better ending at least.

Amateur Night was an okay, fun watch; thought Ti West would do something good with Second Honeymoon but disappointed. As a short slasher film Tuesday the 17th wasn't bad but the killer's "issue" in appearing in front of video camera may annoy some viewers. I really wanted to like the 4th segment The Sick Thing.... but didn't get the ending at all, what "they" were actually up to? The last one, 10/31/98 delivers the best one, IMO...an interesting-creepy-fun viewing where 4 friends headed out to a Halloween party at a stranger's house but soon find out that's just the 'rightfully' wrong place to be in...!!

I loved it. My mates and I watched it as part of a teen horror fest years ago. A lot of us are from the Buffy / Angel crowd and it was awesome to see David Boreanaz as the bad guy again (We all clicked pretty quickly that it was him.) It was some laugh.

I never did get around to watching it last night though!
