need help finding a film please

hi all horrow film buffs... i know its weird.. but when i was about 12 my dad was rushed to hospital one night and i ended up sitting alone with the dog watching a horror film early in the morning... till this day ive tried to find out what it was... and need your help..

it was about 2 men in an old house who hired a wanna be actress to be someone.. they continue to make her into what they want and even sneak into her room from beind a hidden mirror in the middle of the night to cut one of her fingers off so she is the same as the woman they want her to be...she manages to get into the loft and finds a phone to ring her boyfriend who has his leg in plaster.. he rushes to her and cuts off is plaster on the way to try and help her..

not a lot to go on but this means a lot to me and i really want to find what film it is..
