Mass Effect 3
Electronic Arts has announced that the new Mass Effect 3 game is under development and would be released at the end of next year. This announcement was made at the Spike Video Game Awards 2010 and later EA Executive Patrick Buechner, confirmed it via Twitter.
The Mass Effect 3 game is being developed on a new game engine and would be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. Mass Effect 2 for PlayStation 3 consoles hits next month. Mass Effect 3 would be the final game to complete the Mass Effect Trilogy. Just like in ME2, the players would be able to import game save files of ME and ME2 in Mass Effect 3. All the decisions that have been taken in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 will eventually impact the character in Mass Effect 3. Bioware will add more RPG features in the game along with better combat options and more complex enemies. Automobile based exploration might be one of the distinct new features in Mass Effect 3. New trailer released.
Mass Effect 3 will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC from March 6 in North America, and March 9 in Europe.
