The 4th Floor.
An excellent cast (Juliette Lewis, John Hurt, Shelly Duvall, Austin Pendelton) is wasted in a pedestrian "woman moves into a new apartment and is terrorized by bizarre neighbors" film. Kind of worth a watch to see Shelly Duvall doing a later day Karen Black impression. The ending message also pissed me off a bit. |

Outpost - 3/10
Really not worth watching. Somebody ripped off The Keep and The Fog (the movie) and made this. The supporting actors were pretty talentless and the atmosphere was non-existent. There's little enough time to cram all the movies you wanna watch in, without wasting time on this. AVOID!!!

You're jaded. This is one of the most amazing true crime movies I've ever seen. The atmosphere is taught and nail-biting from the moment the shooting starts to the end. I was particularly impressed by the honest portrayal of how this small town dealt with something completely outside its experience. The raw low-budget, almost documentary feeling also helped to honestly impart the emotions of the situation far better than a slick Hollywood approach would have. |
