My word...didn't she have any family? The poor woman was once a star and then THAT happens. Some people don't fear death, but I think most at least want to be missed.

'Superman' Actor Jackie Cooper -- Dead At 88
5/4/2011 1:41 PM PDT

Academy Award nominated actor Jackie Cooper has died.

Cooper -- who was nominated for an Oscar when he was 9-years-old -- passed away yesterday at a hospital in Beverly Hills after a sudden bout with illness.

Cooper was a highly respected director in his adult years -- winning Emmy awards for his work on "M*A*S*H*" and "The White Shadow."

Cooper famously played the role of The Daily Planet newspaper editor Perry White in the 1978 "Superman" film.

In addition to his long acting career, Cooper was also a decorated WWII vet, who served with the Navy in the South Pacific.

He will be missed.

His role in The Champ was one of the greatest child performances ever. A terrible loss.

I believe Jackie Cooper was one of the very few remaining Little Rascals actors, and one of the best remembered of all of them.

And the Hollywood death toll continues to mount its way throughout the year 2011 as yet another golden age actress has been taken from us, leaving behind one hell of a horror memory!

According to the LA Times Dana Wynter, who was best known by fans as Becky Driscoll in the classic 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, died Thursday of congestive heart failure at Ojai Valley Community Hospital's Continuing Care Center, said her son, Mark Bautzer.

She was 79.

Though she graced our genre only a few times, she, just like the film itself, had an impact on generations of filmmakers to come. We would like to take this time to offer Dana's many friends, family members, and constituents our sincerest of condolences.

Thanks for the memories, Dana. We're sure that somewhere right now both you and Kevin McCarthy are running through the clouds.

Pro Wrestler Randy 'Macho Man' Savage Dies in Car Accident

Pro wrestling superstar Randy "Macho Man" Savage died after having a heart attack while driving his Jeep Wrangler, Fox News confirms.

The accident happened in Seminole, Fla.

A source tells Fox News that he "suffered a heart attack while driving and hit a tree."

Lanny Poffo, Randy's brother, told TMZ the accident happened Friday morning when Savage lost control of his vehicle.

Florida Highway Patrol said Savage leapt a concrete median, veered into oncoming traffic and smashed into a tree head on.

He died from his injuries at largo Medical Center.

Savage, 58, had just celebrated his first wedding anniversary with his wife Lynn. It was his second marriage. His first wife died of a drug overdose shortly after their divorce in 1992.

Professional wrestler Kevin Nash tweeted: "I lost a close friend today. If anybody in heaven is wondering who the cat in the ugly cowboy hat is it's Randy. Love you Bro. Never another."

Savage helped put WWF wrestling on the map in the 1980s and '90s, becoming, along with Hulk Hogan, one of its biggest draws. His outrageous outfits and bellowing voice made him a fan favorite.

Damn...

A really sad day for all wrestling fans, new and old. I remember watching him in my growing years, and part of my old passion for the WWF came from him, Hogan, Bret Hart, Diesel, Shawn Michaels, etc.

R.I.P. Randy Savage.
