			DC comics

"Brightest Day" and "War of the Supermen" #1's. Both quite good...but yknow, knowing dc and their events all the time if you haven't read a few titles in a while you might wonder what's going on.

Okay, please don't yell and throw things at me, but I'm reading Watchmen for the first time. I've never gotten into comics, really, so this one clearly took me a while to get to between all the books and movies I'm trying to make it through.

I have maybe another 1/5 to finish.

I just read Greek Street vol. 1: Blood Calls for Blood, by Peter Milligan and David Gianfelice. It’s an interesting book – putting Greek myths into the middle of modern-day London – but there wasn’t enough here to get me to come back for volume 2. A shame, really, as I love mythology.

You don't have to have read any DC comics before...I mean there's existing characters in it but the narrative takes care of everything very smoothly...I didn't think I would but I really enjoyed this comic, and it's one of my recos for the week.

Just finished PUSSEY! by Daniel Clowes. It was OK. Oddly enough, I enjoyed his Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron more (I say "oddly" because PUSSEY! is more fake-autobiographical, which is a genre a typically enjoy, and Velvet Glove is bizarro, a genre that I go back and forth with)... Found PUSSEY! to be a bit boring, to tell the truth.

Batman - The return of Bruce Wayne #1

...well, it's hard to say they're not heavily borrowing from the whole Captain America thing...but, I actually found it a pretty interesting read, with pretty cool art.
