Despite being a huge Lovecraft AND Karloff fan I think Die Monster Die is pretty horrible..
Reptilicus is a great monster on a string flim but Black Sabbath is an absolute masterpiece of light/colour and direction - so i go with bava for this one. |

5-0-0, Black Sabbath runs through to the very smooth and quick double shutout win.
This completes Round 1. A lot of favorites which did pretty well but were knocked out in close matches have qualified for another go-to-the-KO for Round 2. Let's see how they fare again. Round 2 begins in a bit...
