My Film Debut! (Morte Aeterna)

Ok, so by now you all must now I'm an actor. God knows, I bring it up as often as I can. Typically I've only done theatre, which hasn't given me the chance to share my work with you guys, but now I've finally done something I can post here.

A friend of mine wrote and directed this short movie as part of his final project for an advanced English class. It's a story about a man stuck in the monotony of day to day life, who thinks there's only one way out...but things don't quite turn out as planned.

I play the lead...from an acting point of view I really didn't have to do a whole lot, but I think the film as a whole turned out pretty decent.

If anyone's interested in taking a look, here's a link:

Let me know what you think!

Thanks guys - glad you liked it! :)

Yeah, it really wasn't much of an acting challenge by any means, but it was still a good time.

That was good, Return!

In years to come, when being the guest on 'Inside the Actors Studio', you will have something to show the aspiring students some early Gaunce work!

That was very good, Mr. Gauce. :D

A couple of things;

I thought that the the speeded up scenes worked very well.
The cereal looked tasty
The Music was well placed, especially in the first monotony scene in the carpark. It fitted with each turn of the car.

----

It wasn't you driving, as could be seen by the mirror. But I'm sure there is a good reason for that.

Overall, pretty good. Although I thought that the "opening credits" phase could have been whittled down a bit.

It most certainly was not - our esteemed director had no milk in his house, so I was wolfing down dry Special K for 5-6 takes in a row. Not pleasant, haha.

Damn...I was hoping nobody would notice that, heh. I don't exactly have my license (yes, lazy, I know), so we had to get a stand-in. Good eye though - I thought he worked pretty well.

I'll pass your other comments along to the director - thanks :)

No, your name is Gauce. Look it up. :p

And it was only in the last driving scene that I noticed. He kept looking in the mirror and wasn't wearing glasses.
