Nowwwwwww, briefly, this conversation was steered over to ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. Before we totally get off that subject: Has anyone tried hot dogs, like, say, all beef hot dogs, without any of these three condiments, or relish for that matter? This is important. I think hot dogs are much better plain, you know, just on a bun, but no toppings, just the dog and the bun, the dog and the bun. You should try this. Has anybody tried this? I bet if you did you would like it. Comments please.

I prefer my hot dogs covered in mustard, onion and meat sauce.

Typically, if I happen to be ingesting hot dogs for whatever reason, I'll usually have 2: one drowning in mustard, one perfectly plain. I very much enjoy both of them.

On that note...I really think this is the wrong thread to start discussing how we enjoy our hotdogs. The possibilities are...disturbing.

How can you even taste the hot dog under all that miscellaneous meat sauce? Or is that the whole point?
