... What was the fucking point? So one has a compound fracture and the other is old. whoopdy do. christ, if i endure another 2 hours of a movie for another stupid, pointless, resolutionless spanglish-style ending, i am going to take hostages. i dont care how artfully done it was, it was pointless. |

After watching this movie, decided to look it up on IMDB...I have no idea why this movie gets so much hate! MST3K even had a show with it... I thought this was a great fun little sci-fi flick. Sure it was cheesy, but what 50's monster movie isnt? I thought the monsters were really cool, the "human" villains were great (Who knew Alfred could be so evil?), and the overall concept was an awesome fantasy/sci-fi plot. Sure, the actors are a little wooden, and the effects are a little shaky...who the hell cares? If you like 50's sci-fi, this is pretty near a must-see.

Completely agree. I thought I was the only person that hated that movie.

When it gets to the part at the hotel, that was where I really felt like I had just wasted time watching it. Javier Bardem's character was pretty cool, but unfortunately the movie as a whole did nothing for me. -D Quote:
