I always wanted to try boxing too except that I don't want to get my face smashed up. Hitting a bag is cool though, since it doesn't hit back. :p

I boxed for about 6 months - it was great fun - got be the fittist i'v ever been. Wasn't that good at it but it was fun - i loved to spar.

actually - i completely wrecked my bad knee..after my second class

was told by the Dr to keep off it for a month or so ..

i'm due to go back any time now ... and yeah - it was quite a workout

Like everyone, coolness should do the trick. This thread is growing quickly...I feel so inspired. I wanna learn TKD now...but I'm short. Don't know if my legs will stretch that far...Oh well...Perhaps "Tai Chi" suits me. :(
