Definitely. Not sure where I'd place it on an all time list, but certainly top 5 superhero flicks.

For sure. One of the best scripts written, ever.

i think if the part with the son and the gun was removed .. or at least handled a little more deftly/differently - it would be a perfect film.

that was the only part that didnt ring true to me ..

otherwise i thought it was great - a bold take on the genre.

The major flaw to me was the wife- it just wasn't a character. She was in like 3 scenes...

***SPOILER WARNING***

I think they did it just fine. It was but natural that the kid would think that some of his Dad's "special ability" had rubbed off on him.

***SPOILER WARNING***

I dont think so. She was pretty much an integral part of characterisation. The friction and chemistry she shared with Bruce was a highlight. And also, because she was a nurse by occupation, and tended to Mr. Glass.

Two very important points. Besides one other flashback revelation, when Bruce realises he had saved her from the "accident" years ago.

***END OF SPOILERS***

The Mist.

Fucking cool movie. One of the great ironic endings. Raises the big "Would you do that?" question. Me? never, I find it impossible to give up on anything.
