Ringo Starr!

Hopped a train to Chicago this morning to attend Ringo's appearance at the Hard Rock Hotel in celebration of his 68th birthday. It was incredible- I was inches from him for a solid 15 minutes!

I'll add pictures later- I've never been so star-struck!

Hard to think of him as 68. Ringo was certainly one of the 2 coolest Beatles, and he hasn't done too poorly for himself since.

Many of the Beatles song titles were reportedly "Ringoisms" - clever turns of phrases that Ringo actually used in his everyday speech- Eight Days a Week and A Hard Days Night are two.

Yeah, turns out I'm on every major television news channel. Right above Ringo's head during his interview, there I am.

Fuckin' a.
