Movie Identification Help

Hey folks. I need a little help finding the title of a movie. I'm going to copy/paste my original post from another forum I go to.

So Laura and I were watching One Missed Call the other night (since I'm a sucker for Japanese Horror remakes), and we were discussing various other "scary" movie tittles, including The Reaping. This brought up my questioning of a trailer we watched on some random DVD in the last year that was along the same lines of The Reaping (religious horror/thriller). The problem is, we can't remember what DVD we saw it on or the name of the title...so help us out.

Here's all we have to go on:

1) There's a scene with a shadow of Jesus being crucified being cast on what we remember to be a cliff face. One character, I believe a woman in a nun outfit says something along the lines of "there's nothing there to cast a shadow..."

2) Some guy that is imprisoned somewhere thinks he's Satan, or something along those lines. At one point, I believe he exclaims, "I never bleed!" and chops his finger off using the little slidey-door thing on his main "cell" door. The scene then shows the top half of his finger plopping on the floor, and then back to him, holding up his hand with the severed finger not bleeding.

I think the movie is pretty much about religious happenings going on, with two of the main characters being some sort of cop perhaps that basically finds faith throughout the movie or something, and his nun cohort that is trying to convince him to believe all through this.

Then again, all I'm basing this on is a fleeting memory of a three minute trailer =/

We also just realized that in addition to possibly being on The Messengers DVD under previews, it might have been on the Blood and Chocolate DVD (for whatever reason)
