Hmmm...
To feed...is to what?
Give food to? Provide with sustenance...etc? So, what is to "give drink to"? I was just pondering this the other day. "water" seems a likely option, but, not really all that much so. It's more specific to water, and providing it to any manner of plant or creature... I began to think of the word beverage...and thought about how it might be used in this sense, and my research turned up: Bever \Be"ver\, n. [OE. bever a drink, drinking time, OF. beivre, boivre, to drink, fr. L. bibere.] A light repast between meals; a lunch. [Obs.] --Beau. & Fl. Er...bit of random junk there, but it seems a likely contender...however, still doesn't seem to cover it entirely...is this word, as close as we can come to the liquid equivalent of "feed"? Maybe Waver? I 'unno...

Take the horses outside and water them. We must water teh horses.
Stick the horses in the water and do drink upon them. Drink the pond on them.

You can also feed lines to an actor or feed paper into a shredder. That word isn't just a verb for providing food to.
