The Serpent And The Rainbow

Has anyone seen this movie? I heard it was quite disturbing and freaky. Ive even heard from some that it's more frightening and disturbing and just far out than Cannibal Holocaust. From reading the plot I don't see how so I was wondering if I could get the 411 from one of you before I rent/buy it.

Not necessarily more disturbing than Cannibal Holocaust, but certainly frightening, and a hell of a good plot. ABSOLUTELY worth the purchase!

the serpent... is a movie of substance whereas CH is just shock and sensationalism. definitely buy the serpent... and borrow CH cause you'll only watch it once.

I thought the film was over rated personally. Didnt find it scary at all, and i found a few scenes to be downright silly.

I kind of liked the movie, but I LOVED the book. I highly recommend reading the book.
