I'm sorry but every new console (PS3 and Wii included) can have problems. I had problems with my first PS2, XBox, Gamecube, Saturn, Playstation, 360, and Dreamcast. Early adopters are often the ones to pay. I know a few people who've had issues with their Wiis and PS3s but see, when you buy something that expensive, you just pay for the extra insurance. Something goes wrong, you get a new one, it's simple.
