I don't have kids, but I don't believe that striking them in any way is acceptable. I don't want to get into a debate about it, but I noticed that it was being talked about on the last page so I said what I thought. There are two different schools of thought and I belong to the one against physical violence on children for disciplinary purposes.

Wait untill you have children and see if your view remains the same.

Thanks! Although even when I do have kids I guarantee that I will never lay a hand on them. This could be the end of this topic, though. It's not my place to tell anyone else how to raise their kids.
